A pastor, staff and currently a volunteer business coach from CCT Malungon, Sarangani Province participated in Start Your Business Training (SYB) sometime last year in 2015. If you can only describe Pastor Berdin Allado’s mind, you will say that he is a business-minded person. Doing the Father’s business by sharing the Word of God and shepherding people, he also is an entrepreneur by having his family-owned Sari-Sari Store.
Financed by him, Ptr. Berdin’s wife and their children are helping to run their own business. Allado’s sari sari store provides some of the primary commodities like retailed rice, egg, dried fish, canned goods, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodles, and many more that serves to the community within Carcon Village, Navarette St., Lagao, General Santos City. One thing he learned from SYB training that became a highlight to him, it was taught that you have to pay a salary for yourself or any person who works for the business.
In order to pay a salary for his wife, it was suggested by MBC’s BP Evaluator that he adds more products to his Sari-Sari Store and increase in selling the salable items to earn a higher profit. He testified that it is a reality now that his wife receives salary from the profit of their business. This creates a feeling of fulfillment to both MBC and CCT when people learn and apply the principle on how to run a business and how to take care the business money. By the grace of God and with the training provided, Pastor Berdin is also used by the Lord in coaching four micro-entrepreneurs.
